Research + Development

In microtechnology, advanced knowledge is the pace maker of the economical success for companies in Central Switzerland.

The heart of a competence region microtechnology is a research- and development centre with know-how at a high international level. Therefore, MCCS has jointly entered into a cooperation contract with the worldwide recognised Centre Suisse d'Electronique et de Microtechnique S.A. [CSEM] in Neuenburg, which governs the set-up and operation of a research facility in Central Switzerland.

The CSEM makes the most modern technologies available for the industry, which were developed by applied research. The Centre Suisse d'Electronique et Microtechnique is a semi-private association, which has more than 450 employees throughout Switzerland. The task of CSEM is to explore new fields of application for microtechnology competences.
