Microtechnology

Microtechnology reduces components, devices and integrates intelligent functions on an ever-smaller area. The heart of the microtechnology are micro systems (MEMS or Micro-Electric-Mechanical Systems), small miracles of mechanics, electronic and optics. By using compact processor controllers with object oriented software and powerful sensors and actuators, former large devices (operating systems and robots) become smaller and smaller.
