With CSEM in Alpnach MCCS has established a centre of competence for microsystem technology, which operates application oriented research at top international levels. MCCS promotes the research activities in specific topics which possibly offer direct benefit to the regional economy.
Microtechnology-Cluster
MCCS forms a platform to network companies, research institutions and universities as a core of a central Swiss microtechnology-cluster. In doing so, MCCS enables the partakers to be able to exchange knowledge and to win competitive advantages by having a competence lead in technology based innovations.
Supplementary Activities
MCCS initiates and supports measures in order to strengthen the qualifications of the employees in technology companies and thus the company internal know-how.
MCCS encourages start-up-companies and supports relocations of companies. This way MCCS enables the continuous development of a competence region in microtechnology.
